The Owners
-
Co-Owner & Managing DirectorBirgit became the owner of Little Acorns in August 2024, bringing with her a strong background in finance and a deep passion for child development. Originally from Germany, she moved to the UK in 2014 and transitioned from a successful career in banking to the world of early childhood education.
Her journey into the nursery sector was driven by personal experience as a mother of two, recognizing the need for a caring, well-structured, and stimulating environment for young children. She is dedicated to maintaining Little Acorns as a place where children can thrive, families feel connected, and high-quality early years education is prioritized. Birgit believes that the early years are the foundation of lifelong learning and is committed to fostering a setting where children can explore, grow, and develop essential skills for the future..
