NURSERY MANAGER & SENCO COORDINATOR

Louise has been a part of Little Acorns for several years, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge in early years education and child-led learning. She is known for her engaging teaching style and her ability to create a warm and structured environment where children feel encouraged to explore and grow.

In her role as Nursery Manager, Louise enables staff training, ensures smooth day-to-day operations, and works with families to provide tailored guidance for each child's development. She is particularly passionate about early literacy and language development, helping children build strong communication skills that prepare them for school and beyond. She supports staff training and their careers and maintains a fun, structured, and nurturing atmosphere in the nursery.

DEPUTY MANAGER

Inga holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has over 15 years of experience working with children from 9 months old to secondary school age. She began her journey at Little Acorns in 2016 and was promoted to Deputy Manager just a year later.

With a strong background in early years education and a deep understanding of autism, Inga is passionate about creating a nurturing and inclusive environment. She is also the creative mind behind the nursery’s visual design and decorations – from seasonal displays to themed rooms – and takes pride in bringing ideas to life that spark joy and curiosity in children.

Inga is dedicated, imaginative, and values the meaningful impact she can make in each child’s early development.

DEPUTY MANAGER

Kirsty started at Little Acorns as a trainee at 17 and worked across all rooms for five years after qualifying. She then gained experience in an SEN primary school and later as a Senior in a residential care home for children and young people.

Throughout this time, she stayed connected to Little Acorns and now returns as Second Deputy Manager. She already knows many of the families and looks forward to reconnecting and meeting new ones.

ROOM LEADER IN THE BABY ROOM (THE LITTLE NUTSHELLS)

Shannon has been with Little Acorns for nearly five years and has completed both Level 2 and Level 3 Early Years Educator qualifications. She currently leads the baby room, where she provides a warm and nurturing environment for our youngest learners. With experience across all nursery age groups, she enjoys supporting children as they grow and develop.

ROOM LEADER IN THE EXPLORERS (TODDLER ROOM)

Ana joined Little Acorns in 2020 and became a permanent team member in January 2024. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminology and Sociology and has a background in midwifery. In addition to her work with young children, she has been involved in STEM education, helping children and young people access innovative learning opportunities. Ana recently completed her Level 3 Early Years qualification and now leads the Toddler Room.

LEVEL 3 QUALIFIED EDUCATOR IN OUR PIONEERS ROOM

With over a decade of experience in early childhood education. His background in early years teaching, combined with strong leadership skills, ensures that the nursery operates smoothly while maintaining a nurturing and stimulating environment for children.

Jimmy is passionate about fostering a love for learning in young children, using a play-based approach that encourages curiosity, problem-solving, and social development. He has over a decade of experience in early childhood education and firmly believes in supporting not only the children but also the parents, ensuring that families feel confident in their child's learning journey.

ON-SITE NURSERY CHEF

Cristina has been an integral part of Little Acorns for many years. Originally from Portugal, she brings not only experience but also a passion for healthy and diverse food. In our kitchen, nothing goes to waste – Cristina is deeply committed to avoiding food waste and making the most of fresh, seasonal ingredients.

She regularly introduces new dishes and flavours, helping children explore a wide range of tastes from an early age – including exotic fruits and vegetarian recipes. A key focus of her cooking philosophy is to provide balanced, sugar-free meals that are both nourishing and appealing. Cristina’s creative, thoughtful approach ensures that mealtimes are not only healthy but also an opportunity for discovery and enjoyment.

APPRENTICE IN THE EXPLORERS (TODDLER ROOM)

Maia has been with Little Acorns for eight months as an apprentice and is currently working towards her Level 3 qualification. She enjoys engaging with the children and looks forward to continuing her journey in early years education.

APPRENTICE

Marjama started her apprenticeship at Little Acorns beginning of 2025 and is currently completing her Level 2 qualification. She is enjoying her experience and is eager to continue her learning journey with the team and across all age groups.
